It is well worth checking out, they have a good FAQ page which will answer many of your questions. How nice you can do that instead of fighting for a taxi on arrival and not knowing what you´ll be charged which can be a real pain. It´s great for independent travellers and you can therefore choose and arrange your own hotel at cheaper rates this way too.

I particularly liked the flight search facility as it was fast and user friendly. Some of them can be fiddly and frustrating but this was great to use.

I tried it out with destinations between two NON UK airports, which was fine. I find it so frustrating when flight websites assume everyone is travelling only out of UK and back again. People who travel, travel, all over the place, even if they started out from UK or wherever!

Back to European destinations, if the far east wasn´t your cup of tea above, Wegolo is a new flight booking website that trawls all the cheap flight operators across Europe and UK. Pick where you want to go from and it´ll even combine different flight operators to get the cheapest return fares. There is even a facility on it whereby you can book last minute for somewhere based on the temperature you want. So for instance, you set the temperature at 25 degrees and see what the system can offer you! This website has definitely passed the grumpy dog-owner test! It´s very user friendly and you can do dog-friendly searches of all the places on the website and take your furry friend on holiday with you! If you want to book your own accommodation as cheaply as possible you could do a lot worse than look at this Interhome website which I thought was very interesting. You can find last minute cheap bookings with quite a big discount, and there is a very large choice of countries, across the whole of Europe including UK and Turkey, and also USA. There are villas and flats with pools, and all kinds of lovely places in scenic areas to suit all budgets. It´s a particularly attractive and user-friendly website, I like the facility to make your own PDF brochure to email to others in your group or to print out, it makes choosing the ideal place much easier - and as for the pet-friendly holiday booking facility - well, you know how I feel about dogs - say no more! It´s obviously quite easy to organise group holidays with these facilities and to include your furry friends too! Of course there are other homes that don´t allow dogs and that´s fine too.
